Fewer Hours taken, More Homework? WTF?

I am having a lot of fun with my Trig Homework but I don't feel that way immediately after class. I feel I have to rush to jot down all the notes, but can't take the time understand what I just wrote down. When the Prof turns and asks if we have any questions, nobody says anything, because I suspect they might feel they are in the same boat. That might explain why it takes HOURS to finish my assignments. We are finally getting to applications now, so it is more fun to do the calculations, Thank God!

It is finished, only not so dramatic...

I have completed the summer term, and have learned a few things. None of them from any of the classes, though.
I now realize that taking 11 hours in the shortened term may not be the best way to go. Especially when working full time. I know that Sunday is offered when wanting to take Spanish I. Lesson learned.
Now that it is finished, I am wondering what is in store for me next semester. I have yet to finalize my schedule, but I don't intend to kill myself in the process. Maybe cutting back on work hours. Hmmmm... Only problem is that there weren't too many courses I could take that will transfer. And then there is that little problem of Calculus I and II. I have to figure out how to best get up to speed to tackle those minor courses. I am sure Wasabi P can show me the shortcut he was mentioning on Sunday before I get to the rest of it!
I haven't mentioned it before, but I had a wonderful time at my friend's wedding. Michael and Barb had a wonderful ceremony and dinner. I had the opportunity to see some old friends and make new ones. One interesting thing I noted about the wedding was that I could not believe this was happening. I remember Michael and I doing crazy stuff over the years and that I was so happy for my friend to have just an amazing day and be gracious enough to ask me to be apart of his(their)special moment. Barb and her family were so friendly and down to earth, as if I had known them as long as Michael. Unfailingly polite in every way, I am grateful I had the opportunity to have breakfast with them that Friday. It is my wish that I get to visit with them soon.
My congrats to D and J. Nothing but the best for you two. And that I get to learn some serious Korean cuisine. :-p
More to come......
